Jayden Bogle update emerges at Sheffield United

Jayden Bogle was becoming one of Sheffield United’s key players at right wing back before a season-ending knee injury stopped his development abruptly.

George Baldock has stepped into the 21-year-old’s shoes very effectively in recent weeks but arguably does not provide the same attacking outlet.

The Blades have won nine, drawn three and lost just once since Paul Heckingbottom replaced Slavisa Jokanovic as manager at the back end of 2021, and they will remain confident of pushing for promotion in Bogle’s absence.

Bogle underwent surgery on his knee and provided the following update to the club’s media team.

He wrote: “Op went well!
