James Tavernier's biggest Rangers goals as record breaker proves Mr Reliable when it really matters

It's been quite the journey for James Tavernier at Rangers.

And more often than not he has a MAJOR say on the biggest stage. His arrival at Ibrox didn't come with a goals galore tag attached to his CV but that is what he has since added under his achievements box after creating history at the weekend by overtaking former Motherwell boss Graham Alexander in the history books to become the UK’s highest scoring defender ever after his strike in the 3-1 win over Hibs at Ibrox.

This season alone he has broken the 20 goal barrier once again and has notched efforts across all competitions. Rangers are in a huge battle with Celtic for the Scottish Premiership crown this season and this campaign alone he's produced magic when required to put big points on the board in that battle. His strikes don't just stop in the title race with huge goals in Europe and in club cup competitions and of course in the title winning season under Steven Gerrard all helping him write his place in the history books.
