James Tavernier admits Rangers penalty 'confusion' as skipper in line with boss over THAT handball mystery

And for Ibrox skipper James Tavernier, that’s what made yesterday’s defeat to their city rivals so hard to swallow. “I think Kyogo has had two shots against us in two games and scored both of them. That’s the difference. We created good chances today. Ross had a good chance through one on one and we just have to be more clinical in taking those chances.

“It’s obviously a hard one to take. But there are a lot of positives too. The mentality of the team to create more chances when we went down to 10 men, having more shots – it’s the small margins when it comes to any game, just finishing our opportunities.
