Jake Paul warned that 'specimen' Mike Tyson still has KO power to put him to sleep despite advancing years

Jake Paul has been cautioned that despite being 58 years old, Mike Tyson still possesses the power to knock him out.

The two are set to face off in Texas on November 15, a date pushed back by four months due to Tyson suffering an inflamed ulcer, which forced him to postpone his first fight in four years. Despite his health concerns and the significant age difference, former UFC champion Francis Ngannou believes Tyson could pose a serious threat to Paul. Ngannou, who has previously lost to Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua in the boxing ring, briefly trained with Tyson ahead of his boxing debut against Fury last year.

During an appearance on Paul's podcast, when asked if he thought Tyson could "kick Paul's a**", Ngannou responded affirmatively, stating: "Yeah, I do," he said. "Listen, I have seen Tyson move around just to show me stuff. He was like, 'This footwork moves like this,' and I was like hold on, like, calm down. He's still got it. Either way, I think Mike Tyson will beat you up. We're talking about Mike, bro. Mike is something else. He's a specimen."

Tyson's most recent fight was an eight-round exhibition with fellow boxing legend Roy Jones Jr in 2020. Prior to that, the ageing heavyweight star's last professional bout in 2005 saw him retire after five rounds against Kevin McBride.

The former undisputed world champion is brimming with confidence about defeating Paul later this year, asserting at their head-to-head press conference: "As soon as I catch this guy, it's over," and "Jake Paul is going to be running around the ring, but as soon as I catch this guy, it's going to be totally over.
