Jake Paul warned of boxing 'BAN calls' if he does Mike Tyson damage in the ring

Jake Paul has been cautioned that there could be calls to outlaw boxing if he inflicts harm on Mike Tyson.

The two are set to square off in Arlington, Texas on 15 November, following the cancellation of their original match due to a medical emergency for the former world heavyweight champion. There remains significant worry about Tyson's health, with the 58 year old recently confessing that he finds it "hard to walk" after training. He will also undergo a medical examination before his showdown with Paul.

Ex-boxer Paulie Malignaggi has now issued a warning to Paul, suggesting that spectators might call for the sport to be banned if he causes serious injury to his forthcoming opponent. He stated: "Head blows from young, strong guys at Mike's age aren't good. When you're younger, you can handle hits better.

Malignaggi has expressed serious concerns about the potential harm Paul could inflict on Tyson due to his age. Speaking to Canada Casino, he warned: "Jake Paul might not be world-class, but he's certainly not a novice. He's been boxing for about five years. "After four years of boxing, I won the US National Championships, so Jake's far from a beginner. He's strong and young. Hitting someone Tyson's age has serious risks. Tyson
