Jake Paul claims Mike Tyson is 'by far' his number one target for his next fight

Jake Paul is regularly in the news whether it be for YouTube drama or his latest boxing endeavours.

This is again the case with his name being said in the same sentence as the legend that is Mike Tyson.

Paul at the moment is going back-and-forth with Eddie Hearn as the pair are both in camp for the upcoming bout between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano.

Not only did the Matchroom front-man tell Paul that he will never win a World Title, but the pair have also wagered $1 million on their respective fighters prevailing this weekend.

Back to the matter at hand though and besides this, the American has something else on his mind. He is certainly setting his sights high as he sounds out ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson as his next opponent. Along with UFC star Anderson Silva, Tyson is apparently “by far” the number one target, as per The Sun.

Paul certainly isn’t disrespecting Tyson but going after him though, it is instead evidence of his own ambitions. He had this to say on ‘the Baddest Man on the Planet’:

“The guy is just still as explosive as ever, you obviously saw him go eight round with Roy Jones Jr, one of the greatest ever.”

This of course begs the question about the fight between Jake Paul and Tommy Fury.

The new age duo were supposed to clash just before Christmas last year but the Love Island winner, and brother of the Heavyweight Champion of the World Tyson Fury, pulled out due to injury.

There was a lot of chatter about why the fight fell through and it was later revealed that Fury had sustained an injury to his ribs.

Paul is seemingly past the point of fighting Fury though:
