Jadon Sancho reveals his biggest strengths and reflects on first Manchester United season

Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho believes his biggest strength is his ability to create space for his teammates by always needing one or two opposing players to keep a watchful eye on him.

Sancho, who scored in United's disappointing 4-1 defeat to Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday afternoon, is renowned for his pace and trickery with the ball at his feet, often making it hard for opposing defenders to stop him. Capable of running at speed in possession, he can often drag several players out of position to try and stop him.

If successful in beating those trying to thwart him, Sancho is often capable of picking a pass to find a teammate in space. The England winger has displayed that particular trait quite often in recent weeks, highlighting exactly why he won the February Player of the Month award.

Although Sancho often has an eye for goal himself as a lightning-quick winger, as proven against City, it is his ability to force players to run towards him that he believes is the biggest tool within his arsenal.

"I feel my best strength is probably drawing one or two players towards me to then free up space for my teammates and then to release the ball," Sancho told United's club website. "Committing my players is my strong point and obviously one-v-ones is another aspect."

However, Sancho's desire to run at players and force them to sometimes double-up on him, resulting in him being able to pick a pass to find a teammate in space, has resulted in him claiming just two assists this season. He claimed a brace of them in 4-2 win over Leeds United last month.
