Jadon Sancho Man United transfer twist as important £8m deal confirmed and new priority revealed

Juventus have confirmed the signing of attacker Francisco Conceicao from Porto in a deal that could impact how Manchester United and Jadon Sancho operate in the final week of the transfer window. The Old Lady are already in talks to add the 24-year-old to their ranks as well.

Any deal for Sancho was going to come after Conceicao's arrival in Turin as Thiago Motta sets about getting his side back to being title challengers in Italy Without Conceicao, who cost a reported £6million plus a possible £2million in add-ons, Juve beat Verona 3-0 on Monday with goals coming from Dusan Vlahovic and Nicolo Savona.

The transfer priority moving forward for Juventus is still thought to be away from Sancho though. Atalanta's in-demand midfield Teun Koopmeiners is the next player on their radar.

According to Fabrizio Romano a medical for the Dutch international has already been booked in with a deal ready to be completed before long. Only then will that leave Sancho as the player at the forefront of their mind.

Formal discussions over a possible move for the Englishmen have already started after Sancho's camp flew to Italy on Monday. United are keen to get him off the books completely with a permanent transfer but are also open to a loan.

Due to the amortised cost of his contract - which still has two years left to run - United would need over £30million to bank a profit in the accounts, although it will remain an enormous net loss having spent over £72million to bring him in from Borussia Dortmund.
