Adrien Rabiot has already revealed Man United transfer stance as Erik ten Hag eyes bargain deal

Adrien Rabiot has already suggested that he would be open to joining Manchester United. The 29-year-old midfielder continues to be heavily linked with a move to the Premier League following the expiration of his contract at Juventus earlier this summer.

He featured 31 times in the Serie A last term, scoring five goals and providing three assists. Playing a key role in Massimiliano Allegri's side, Rabiot helped the Old Lady finish third and secure Champions League qualification.

At the end of the season, Juventus appointed Thiago Motta as the club's new head coach. With the Italian giants eager to undergo a rebuild, having not won the Scudetto in four-years, Rabiot was one of several players to be offloaded.

Despite being let go in July, the France international has struggled to find a new club. Until now. According to Dutch outlet TransferWatch, United are considering the signing of Rabiot on a free transfer, with Christian Eriksen facing an uncertain future at Old Trafford.

The report states that Ajax have been in 'frequent contact' with the 32-year-old's entourage this summer as the Dutch giants look to bolster their midfield. Eriksen sees his contract with the Red Devils expire at the end of the season, but reports in the Netherlands suggest that his deal could be terminated.

TransferWatch add that United are currently demanding a fee for his signature, which makes a transfer 'financially complex' for Ajax. In the meantime, Rabiot has reportedly reemerged as a target for Erik ten Hag.
