Jack Butland bares all on Rangers season-saving inquest and makes one thing abundantly clear about Clement's role
Pumped-up Jack Butland insists it wasn't only Philippe Clement who got stuck in during the season-defining inquest which rescued Rangers from the brink of despair.
The Light Blues were furiously booed off at Hampden as they trailed Motherwell 1-0 at the break. But the Englishman revealed it was a collective effort which sparked a much-improved second half as Cyriel Dessers and Nedim Bajrami caught fire to melt the Steelmen at the national stadium. Butland allowed Rangers fans inside the dressing room as spoke after his side's comeback was secured.
Speaking to Premier Sports, he said: "There were a lot of people who spoke (not only Clement). There is a real desire to change things and do better. The manager said we need to keep the energy up and we all knew we needed to bring more than that as well. We needed to deal with the goal situation in the first half better. But we have created a lot of chances and taken the positives from that as these moments are making it hard for us at the minute."
