ITV This Morning's Josie Gibson issues another apology to Johnny Vegas as he sends her public message

Josie Gibson has sent another apology to Johnny Vegas after she was left both mortified and in fits of laughter during her latest stint on This Morning. The presenter was back at the helm of the ITV daytime show on Tuesday (August 9) alongside Craig Doyle.

The presenting pair were joined live on the show by the comedian to chat about his Channel 4 show, Johnny Vegas: Carry on Glamping, and the latest site he and assistant Bev Dixon have acquired. The interview got off to a comedic start when Josie struggled to understand what their guest was saying.

But things took a turn later when Johnny, from St Helens, explained that not everything worked out how he had hoped, telling the story of how a ferry had caught on fire while transporting his new minibus as well as a whole array of other problems.

He said: "We always said I don't want to do that show where because you're on telly everything works out for you. It doesn't, you know. And it's life isn't it?" Josie then replied, quite dead-pan: "It certainly doesn't for you." But as she began her next sentence, Johnny erupted into laughter.

Josie and Craig also burst out laughing as the mum-of-one apologised. Johnny then said: "Shall I just walk off and cry now?" before he got up and put his face into his hands as he faked sobbing noises. He didn't make it far off the set and returned to the sofa where Josie was crying with laughter and insisted: "I meant on the show!"
