ITV Saturday Night Takeaway fans fall in love with new star of the show and demand she has a regular slot

Fans of Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway declared a new star of the show while watching the second episode of the new series.

Hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly had viewers in stitches with a mock security check segment.

The prank segment included belongings vanishing on the conveyor belt and being replaced by other random items as Ant and Dec called the shots with their voices disguised.

And viewers fell in love with one unsuspecting guest star called Dorothy who wasn't standing for any nonsense.

And and Dec were in fits of laughter as she asked "a gun? why would I have a bloody gun?" and "where's my bloody handbag?"

Viewers took to Twitter to demand she got her own segment on the ITV family entertainment programme and even her own show.

@TraylorHolmes tweeted: "I want Dorothy to be my nan."

@Nads1704 said: "Dorothy needs a regular slot."

@RyanGTweetsTV wrote: " Dorothy's reaction to seeing Ant and Dec was everything. What a legend."

And they said: "Please give Dorothy a takeaway getaway. She deserves it."

@ShannonKidd_98 declared: "I would die for Dorothy."

@OfficialCWH begged: "Give Dorothy her own show."

@ayesleft asked: "Can Dorothy have her own show please?"
