ITV I'm A Celebrity's Danny Jones issues three-word assessment amid 'lame' return to UK

Danny Jones has issued a three-word assessment of his time in Australia for I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here as he made his return to the UK.

It's been over a week since the McFly star was crowned king of the jungle after signing up for the ITV reality show's 2024 run.

He made it to the final three alongside TV personality Coleen Rooney, who finished runner-up, and third place star Reverend Richard Coles before he was confirmed to have followed in his McFly bandmate Dougie Poytner's footsteps by being crowned the king of the jungle.

Danny has since described himself as having a 'crazy year' as he completed a hat trick of TV wins as in 2024 he was also seen winning The Masked Singer and was the the joint-winning coach on The Voice UK with bandmate Tom Fletcher and their act, Ava.

His I'm A Celeb win comes after Danny admitted that he had planned to take six months off to move house ahead of his tour next year, but that he could not turn down I’m A Celeb when the opportunity presented itself and therefore his wife Georgia ploughed on with the move in his absence.

While he didn't get the six months off he planned, Danny has been able to spend some extra time Down Under with Georgia, their son Cooper and his mum Kathy.

But as the saying goes, all good things must come to an an end and he's since revealed he was on his way back home to the UK.

Alongside a picture of his I'm A Celeb boots in front of a window looking out over New South Wales, the musician said: "What an experience!" He then shared a video of him preparing to leave his hotel, alongside which he wrote: "Checkout is lame!"
