I'm A Celebrity fans said 'absolutely not' as hosts Ant and Dec made an elimination announcement on Sunday night's show (December 1).

Dean McCullough became the second celeb to leave the jungle on Sunday night, after Loose Women star Jane Moore was eliminated on Friday.

As of Thursday, ITV viewers have had the opportunity to vote for their favourite celebs, and therefore the campmates with the fewest votes face elimination.

But fans of the show appeared outraged, arguing that Barry McGuigan 'deserves more' after Ant and Dec revealed he was in the bottom two on Sunday night's elimination.

Alongside Dean, former boxer Barry McGuigan, who smashed Sunday's Bushtucker trial and brought home 10 out of a possible 11 stars, was in the bottom two, meaning he received the fewest votes from viewers.

But ITV fans quickly flocked to social media to express their outrage at seeing Barry in the bottom two. @TheHogg92 wrote: "I never want to hear “Barry, it might be you” again" as @vckyrose urged fellow voters: "Right can we call collectively vote to save Barry next time thank you #imaceleb".

@Jadestevensxx said: "BARRY IT MIGHT BE YOU?? Absolutely not. How is he in the bottom two". @lewisa95 was just as shocked when she wrote: "How the actual f*** was Barry second lowest he deserves more #imaceleb".

@tiawardle posted on X: "why would they put me on the edge like that. DONT ever say Barry it might be you again #ImACeleb", and @AAngels05 said: "The way I’d have been rioting if you idiots had voted Barry out tho".
