ITV Emmerdale star declares limo crash is 'very final' for villagers involved
Emmerdale star Joshua Richards has teased that the horrific limo crash due to air will be "very final" for the residents involved.
Bear Wolf, otherwise known as "Edward" played by Joshua Richards, first appeared on the ITV soap in February 2019. The estranged father of Paddy Kirk established himself in the Dales after becoming good friends with Marlon Dingle and Mary Goskirk.
While he hasn't had a major storyline recently, Bear is about to be involved in the long-awaited limo scene that will see one of two limos involved in a devastatingly icy crash, set to air on February 14th.
In a chilling flash-forward sequence revealed earlier this year, viewers were haunted by the sight of a desperate hand breaking through the lake's icy surface, its fingers grasping for life.
Joshua teased: "I think it's going to be exciting because there's a big night out. Paddy and I and all the others get all dressed up in our tuxedo for a big night out with all the lads. Meanwhile, all the lasses are also going out."
He continued: "It's very final… So to start off they are just driving. They have lots of drinks, banter and toys to play with."
"They are in the limo chatting away until it all changes, there is a big swerve and an accident. And then one of the cars is left in extreme danger."
It's been confirmed that at least 16 villagers are at risk after the crash, but the soap has yet to share which limo is the one that ends up crashing into the icy lake, or which villager gets trapped beneath the surface.
Joshua added: "It is very dramatic - these are a very dramatic set of episodes and I can’t wait for the audience to watch them."
Emmerdale airs on weekdays at 7:30pm on ITV1 and is available to stream on ITVX.
