ITV Emmerdale fans 'work out' who picked up April Windsor in shocking Christmas twist
Emmerdale viewers have been left concerned for the character April Windsor, after she vanished from her home on Christmas Day, leaving her family in a state of despair as they desperately search for her.
April, portrayed by Amelia Flanagan, has been dealing with some difficult issues after discovering the truth about her mother Donna Windsor's (Verity Rushworth) death and realising that her father Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) had lied about it. She has also started drinking.

The police soon become involved as the seriousness of April's disappearance is confirmed. But at the end of the episode, viewers see April alive and well, reports Leeds Live.
Sitting on a wooden fence, April's face is hidden by her hood, but she can be seen patiently waiting for an unknown person to arrive.
April was seen getting into the back seat of a car that pulled up, and as the vehicle drove off, the teenager remained silent. This has sparked speculation among viewers who think they've identified the driver - Anthony Fox (portrayed by Nicholas Day).
