ITV Coronation Street fans spot Shona baby bump blunder amid real-life pregnancy

Eagle-eyed Coronation Street viewers spotted a baby bump blunder during the latest trip to the cobbles. The ITV soap was back on screens on Monday night (October 10) for its first hour-long installment of the week and viewers saw Max Tuner discover whether he could return to Weatherfield High.

The troublesome teen was sent to the Pupil Referal Unit after a smear campaign against teacher Daniel Osbourne which resulted in the teacher's own neice being spike by Max after picking up a drink meant for Daniel. Despite being bullied at the PRU, Max had been getting his head down and showing his potential with his work.

As part of a school project on displacement, Max conducted an interview with his new friend, a refugee from Iraq. They enjoyed a friendly chat at Roy's Rolls cafe supervised by Weatherfield councillor Maria Connor. Meanwhile, Max's dad David Platt and David's wife Shona were disappointed when deputy headteacher Orla Crawshaw informed them that Max couldn't return to Weatherfield High, as there are no places available.

Later, Max was devastated when he found out that Daryan was starting at Weatherfield High but he couldn't, leading to him angrily storming out of the cafe thinking Daryan had taken his place. Back at home, David and Shona gave him a talking-to at home but Max was unrepentant.

But Corrie fans appeared distracted by Shona actress Julia Goulding’s real-life baby bump as the star tries to hide her growing belly by wearing a baggy light blue hoodie during the latest episode as she cleaned the kitchen and did housework before heading to the cafe for work and going back home again for her and David's school
