ITV Coronation Street fans 'fancy Simon Barlow' as actor Alex Bain impresses with dance moves

Coronation Street fans shared their surprise as they suddenly came across Simon Barlow busting some moves. While we say Simon, we actually means the soap star who plays him, Alex Bain, who has been getting involved in some TikTok dance trends - and going viral.

Actor Alex, 20, shares a joint account with his pal Aaron Varden and the pair are regularly posting snippets of them performing mini choreographed routines.

And one video, in particular, caught people's eye as it has been viewers around 1.9 MILLION times and has attracted tens of thousands of likes and plenty of comments.

It sees the lads joining in with the latest dance trend to grace the popular video-sharing app set to Because of You by American superstar singer Ne-Yo. It sees people perform in pairs with one performing certain dance moves with the other then copying before they repeat the four-part steps together at the end.

Alex can be seen in the video with Aaron at the side of a car park, dressing in a black hoodie, matching joggers and a black coat. While they didn't caption the video, they added the hashtags 'Neyo' and 'chill vibe'.

But with the video picking up plenty of attraction, Corrie fans couldn't believe their eyes.

"Imagine walking past and see Simon Barlow swinging moves around like that," @tescovalue2 said.

@recoverysuitsme_gem wrote; "Simon? Is that you?"

"Okay so why do I all of a sudden fancy Simon Barlow," @amb_brownie commented.

@mollylouisebaddeley tagged a pal and said: "Imagine nipping Asda and seeing Simon Barlow having a boogie in the car park."
