ITV Britain's Got Talent viewers make same complaints about last audition show

The latest episode of Britain's Got Talent saw the audience reduced to tears and provided a heavy dose of nostalgia as the auditions came to an end. Fans of the ITV talent show have seen plenty of different acts audition for Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams over the last few weeks.

But the last of the series, before a week of live semi-final shows and the grand final next week, did come with some complaints from viewers. The latest episode on Saturday night (May 28) kicked off with a compilation of a few different acts.

They did, however, all have something in common. First to take to the stage was nine-year-old Mischa Palor from Birmingham who wowed the audience and judges with a dance to Somewhere Over the Rainbow. Next was 12-year-old Cormac Thompson who gave his rendition of Snow Patrol's Run, followed by children's choir, Movies to Musicals, and an emotional performance from Attraction Juniors.

And many watching from the comfort of their sofas took to social media to point out that there were a lot of young acts at the start of the show and they didn't seem too pleased about it.

@lostintimeline tweeted: "No more children please no more #BGT." @Willswhinge commented: "We might see an act that's over 12 years old tonight if we're lucky but I wouldn't hold my breath #BGT." @JayHBaker94 wrote: "Tonight's episode of BGT is sponsored by ToysRus #BGT."

@LyndaPaceAvery1 suggested: "There should be a kids #BGT. Judges always say all kids are "adorable". #TheVoiceKids works why not #BGT." @IndeedItsMark replied: "Oh no! It’s a children choir now. This is the kids edition #BGT."
