UFC 275: Talia Santos makes belitting claim about Valentina Shevchenko
UFC 275 is set to take place on Saturday 11th June 2022, and Talia Santos will be challenging for the UFC Women’s Flyweight Championship in the main event against Valentina Shevchenko.
The company held a media day ahead of the massive PPV card from the Singapore Indoor Stadium, and the #4 ranked Women’s Flyweight gave her assessment of what she needs to do inside the octagon.
Santos enters the fight as a heavy underdog, and she is more than aware of the behemoth challenge ahead of her.

Speaking to MMAJunkie via an interpreter, the challenger to the UFC Women’s Flyweight title said that she has a chance of taking home the gold.
She said: “She’s [Shevchenko] about as close as you can get to the perfect fighter, but nobody is perfect. There’s always room for improvement for everybody.
“Doing the tape study, we were able to locate a few things we can work on and that was basically what the strategy has been put around those flaws that we found, and that’s what I’m going to impose.
“I’ve been the underdog for most of my fights in the UFC. For me, that’s a good thing and I use it for extra motivation.
“It doesn’t matter when we get in there. We’re going to fight the same no matter what people see.”
Although it’s unlikely, we have already seen some massive upsets inside the octagon during 2022, including Amanda Nunes losing to Julianna Pena.
