"It is a possibility" - Journalist says Everton could replace Frank Lampard after report emerges

Everton could replace Frank Lampard with Rennes boss Bruno Genesio if things don’t start to improve soon, according to journalist Pete O’Rourke.

Lampard has only been at Goodison Park for two months, but there are already doubts about his future at the club.

Having replaced Rafael Benitez in the dugout at the end of January, Lampard has found it difficult to get consistent performances out of his team.

The 55-year-old Frenchman has guided Rennes to third in Ligue 1 this term, and they are just a point behind second-placed Marseille.

Two months is a short period of time, and it needs to be remembered that Lampard inherited a squad drained of confidence back in January.

There have been some promising signs in their home games, with the team picking up a 1-0 win against Newcastle
