Isthmian League round-up: Dartford level on points at Premier Division summit as Ramsgate rise to sixth, while Whitstable move into South East play-off places and nine-man Sittingbourne score injury-time equaliser
Dartford are one of three teams locked on 24 points at the top of the Isthmian Premier after Louie Atkins’ late winner against Wingate & Finchley.
Substitute Atkins struck eight minutes from time to earn a 2-1 victory at Princes after player-manager Ben Greenhalgh’s first-half opener was cancelled by Anointed Chukwu.
Greenhalgh’s men are third on goal difference behind new leaders Enfield and Welling, who were edged 1-0 at Eastbourne Borough following an early goal from ex-Gills midfielder Josh Rees.
Ramsgate climbed to sixth after a sparkling 4-1 victory at Whitehawk.
Cameron James, Alfie Paxman and Callum Jones gave Ady Pennock’s side a 3-1 half-time lead and a second for Jones after the break completed a dominant away performance.
Chatham moved up to 10th, four points outside the play-offs, thanks to goals from Tolu Ladapo, Jack Lyons and Kola Salami in a 3-0 home win over Brentwood.
Ade Yusuff levelled for Cray Wanderers after the shock of conceding a first-minute opener against Lewes but the visitors won 2-1 with Ryan Gondoh adding to Tyler Cox’s early goal.
Tommie Fagg scored an injury-time equaliser as Faversham fought back from 2-0 down to draw with Isthmian South East leaders South Park at Salters Lane.
George Vincent’s double, including a second-half spot-kick, put the visitors in charge.
But Steve Watt’s side hit back quickly through substitute Eniye Amgbaduba and secured a deserved point when Fagg levelled in the sixth minute of added time.
New signing Elliott Duncan scored twice on his debut in Margate’s 3-1 win at AFC Croydon.
Duncan opened Gate’s account and restored the lead after ex-Tonbridge man Brandon Pierrick levelled, while Bradley Schafer clinched victory with a late third as Jamie Coyle’s team
