Southern Counties East League Premier Division round-up as Hollands & Blair, Bearsted, Phoenix Sports, Faversham Strike Force and Larkfield & New Hythe are all victorious

Second-placed Hollands & Blair saw off SE Dons in the Southern Counties East League Premier Division on Saturday.

Midfielder Reece Gillies’ third-minute opener and a second-half strike by Malachai Belboda left a stoppage-time Dons goal in vain during a 2-1 Blair win.

Fellow play-off occupants Bearsted were 2-1 home victors against Tunbridge Wells.

All three goals in the game came during a five-minute spell as Matt Day’s opener and an own goal by a visiting player were sandwiched by a Wells strike from Ollie Hyland.

Rusthall suffered a 3-2 loss at big-spending AFC Greenwich Borough despite a penalty in each half by Yassin Fares and Lekan Osideko.

Phoenix Sports, sitting in third, saw off Corinthian 5-1 on their travels as they made it seven successive victories.

Lyle Della-Verde, Ahkeem Belford, Khayrie Harris, Isaac Hadlow and Jamarie Brissett did the damage. Oluwaseyi Adegbehingbe’s second-half strike was a mere Corinthian consolation.

Faversham Strike Force were 4-0 winners at basement boys Erith & Belvedere.

Debutant Harrison Pont put Stuart Benfield’s side into a half-time advantage. Josh Oliver, Kane Taylor and Alfie Giles struck, as well, after the restart.

Charlie Wright claimed an 87th-minute winner for Larkfield & New Hythe in a 3-2 home success over Chislehurst Glebe.

His late effort came after a first-half brace from Andrew Mensah, Zackerius Ejeta and Chris Ojemen also scoring for Glebe in the opening 45 minutes.

Snodland were consigned to a 3-1 loss at fellow mid-table outfit Petts Wood & Holmesdale despite a goal for Chris Alhassan.
