Isthmian League round-up: Chatham thrash Potters Bar to clinch Premier Division play-off place at Dartford’s expense, while Sittingbourne need a point to secure top-five South East finish

Chatham Town booked their place in the Isthmian Premier play-offs - meaning Kent rivals Dartford miss out.

Chats confirmed a top-five finish with a game to spare after cruising to a 6-0 victory at relegated Potters Bar, while Dartford can finish no higher than sixth after conceding a late equaliser in a 2-2 draw at Chichester.

Sam Sene-Richardson and Stanley Oldfield scored inside eight minutes for Chatham, and Oldfield struck again just before the break.

Tope Fadahunsi, Kofi Anokye-Boadi and Ben Allen completed the scoring in the second half.

Dartford came from a goal down to lead 2-1 at Chichester, courtesy of Joe Tennent and Eddie Dsane.

But an 84th-minute leveller from Joe Clarke, adding to Isaac Bello’s opener, consigned Darts to a third successive season at Step 3.

Welling confirmed survival by coming from two goals down to win 3-2 at Cray Wanderers.

The Wings, virtually safe after their midweek win over Potters Bar, trailed to first-half goals from Ola Ogunwamide and Max Fiddes.

But Noah Stewart launched the fightback, Ayman El-Mogharbel levelled and Ibby Akanbi scored a last-minute winner as Ryan Maxwell’s side climbed to 15th.

Ben Mason scored a last-minute equaliser for champions Folkestone in a 1-1 draw at Cray Valley, a result that leaves the Millers needing a win on the final day to have any chance of staying up.

Alfie Newby broke the deadlock midway through the second half but the hosts were denied victory.

Ramsgate lost 2-0 at home to struggling Hashtag in their first game since the shock sacking of Lee Martin.

Nathan Smith and Bilal Sayoud scored for the visitors midway through the second half.
