Is Celtic vs Motherwell on TV? Live stream and kick-off details ahead of Premiership clash

It was a successful international break for Scotland but now that's out the way, attentions turn back to domestic action.

For Celtic, that means bouncing back after their first league defeat in nearly a year against St Mirren just before the break. For Motherwell, it means getting things back on the rails after one point from three games set Stevie Hammell back following a promising start to life in the dugout.

With all that in mind it's set to be an enticing clash at Celtic Park and there are likely to be goals - there always are when Ange Postecoglou 's team are involved. They're averaging more than three goals a game while Motherwell showed before their drop-off they also know where the back of the net is, putting three past Aberdeen and four past Inverness. They've also got hitman Kevin van Veen in form with seven goals in ten games to start the season with a bang.

Here is everything you need to know about the all-important Parkhead clash.

The game takes place on Saturday, October 1.

The clash will be played at Celtic Park in Glasgow with a conventional 3pm kick-off time.

The match will not be shown live on TV as Sky Sports have not picked it up for the 12.30 or 5pm Saturday slots.

Highlights will be shown on Sportscene, which airs on BBC Scotland at 7.30pm.

Only viewers outside the UK will be able to watch the match live via Celtic TV with only audio available to UK viewers.

New SPFL regulations mean one club is allowed to sell the game on PPV but neither have decided to take up that option.
