Ireland trio Tadhg Furlong, Cian Healy and Jamison Gibson-Park ruled out of France game

Tadhg Furlong, Cian Healy and Jamison Gibson-Park will all miss Ireland's crunch Six Nations game with France on Saturday but skipper Johnny Sexton is expected to be available.

Furlong remains sidelined with a calf issue while Healy and Gibson-Park, who were both late withdrawals from the opening-round win over Wales, are ruled out with hamstring injuries.

The Leinster trio will continue their rehab programmes with the Ireland medical team.

Sexton was due to complete his head injury assessment process on Monday, which would clear him to feature against the defending champions at the Aviva Stadium.

Hooker Rónan Kelleher is due to return to training this week after recovering from a hamstring complaint.

Connacht scrum-half Caolin Blade and Leinster loosehead Michael Milne have been called up by Ireland head coach Andy Farrell, who has also retained Roman Salanoa and Tom Stewart in his squad following their inclusions last week.

Farrell has suffered defeat in all three previous meetings with France while in charge of Ireland. Les Bleus began their title defence with a nervy win over Italy, while Ireland were convincing victors over Wales in Cardiff.
