Ireland to welcome England in 2025 Six Nations opener

Ireland will open their 2025 Guinness Six Nations campaign with a home fixture at the Aviva Stadium against England.

It is a fiercely-tough game to start with for Steve Borthwick's team, with Ireland on a current run of just two defeats from their last 41 home games.

Andy Farrell's side will then travel to Scotland and Wales after the England match, then France visit Dublin before a finale against Italy in Rome.

The competition begins on Friday, 31 January with France facing Wales in Paris, kicking off at 9.15pm local time, while England play the following day, when Scotland take on Italy at Murrayfield, tournament organisers announced.
