Ipswich Town loanee reveals desire to stay at Portman Road

Ipswich Town playmaker Bersant Celina has revealed that he would like to return to Portman Road next year, in conversation with the East Anglian Daily Times.

The 25-year-old, who is currently on loan from French club Dijon, has chipped in with five goals and five assists in 25 League One outings thus far this season.

“I definitely want to come back to England and I definitely want to come back here. I’ve played a lot of games for this club and I really feel at home here. I’m happy.”

Celina has been excellent for the Tractor Boys this season, with his technical ability, desire for his side and impact in the final third, all on show for the third-tier outfit.

As seen from these answers, he has loved his time at the club and appears to be eager to secure another move to Suffolk, although, it does remain to be seen if that could happen and if the club are to secure his transfer on a permanent basis.

Sitting six points outside of the play-off positions, Ipswich need will need to be on hand to capitalise on any slip-ups from the current
