Inside the tiny terrace that's one of Greater Manchester's cheapest homes - but it can't fit a proper bedroom
A tiny house has come up for sale in Greater Manchester that is far below the average price - and size - of a standard terraced home. The one-bed property is on the market in Littleborough, Rochdale and is set to go to auction on March 22 with a guide price of £60,000.
The average price of a terraced home in the Rochdale town, which is nestled in the foothills of the picturesque south Pennines, is £166,922 according to Zoopla, therefore this house is much more affordable and a good option for a solo first-time buyer or investor.
But the cheap cost means you'll need to be prepared settle for a fairly limited space, with the property being made up of just a one-up, one-down layout which lacks a proper bedroom.

From the outside the mid-terraced home is noticeably narrow in comparison to a typical terraced home as it appears to be wedged next to a property of a similar size.
The ground floor of the home is 15 square metres and consists of a kitchen area, fitted with a range of wall and base units with space for a small dining table, a bathroom with a walk in shower, and doors from the kitchen leading out into a small communal outdoor area.
Upstairs there is a small landing which leads into the first floor room, a 12 square metre lounge with a window to the front, with stairs to access a mezzanine level floor above it, which is where the bedroom is.
The bedroom is less than 6 square metres and currently fits just a bed, a bedside table and overhead drawers.
The Zoopla listing for the home on Hare Hill Road reads: "Situated in the heart of Littleborough within walking distance of local shops and the train station
