Inside Ange's Tottenham dressing room rage as star reveals half time hairdryer during Shakhtar friendly romp
Ange Postecoglou was "very angry" with his Tottenham players despite a 5-1 hammering of Shakhtar Donetsk in pre-season.
All the talk was centred around the future of hitman Harry Kane, who looks set to leave his beloved Spurs for the dizzying heights of Bayern Munich, in a deal that could bank the London outfit more than £80million. The record scorer responded by hitting Donetsk for four goals ahead of their Premier League opener against Brentford on Sunday, with the former Celtic boss receiving a major ovation from the home crowd.
Postecoglou's mantra already has the likes of James Maddison "buying in" to his style, with reports suggesting the new cohort at the Hotspur Way are loving life under the Aussie already. One such player is forward Kane, who looks set to snub a new contract but reportedly has been "very impressed" with his new boss. Yet winger Dejan Kulusevski revealed the 57-year-old wasn't best pleased in the dressing room with reports that the Shakhtar players were late waiting as the Spurs side came out late for the second half.
In comes after a video was shared on social media showing the Aussie with his head in his hands, barking orders at his players during the friendly. The Swedish star reckons his team mates are getting used to the demands, but admits he is loving it.
He said: "I like him a lot. Also at half-time he was very angry because we stopped playing for five minutes and you cannot be like that. You have to play always. Just because you're tired, you [can't] let them have the ball. Things happen like that. So I like him a lot and I'm looking forward to improving under him. He said we always have to play. Don't shoot away the ball, don't stop pressing, don't waste time. Always play, play the same
