Insane football bets: Punter wins £157,865.59 after landing 16-fold accumulator

Wilfried Zaha scored a dramatic winner for Crystal Palace against Southampton on Saturday afternoon.

The Ivorian winger was named on the bench for the Premier League clash.

He entered the fray with the scores locked at 1-1 and he proved to be the difference between the two teams.

Zaha round space outside the box and he lashed an effort past Fraser Forster and into the net.

That goal made one Ladbrokes customer very happy.

A punter had placed 60p on an astonishing 16-fold accumulator with odds of 263,109/1.

The customer thought they’d try their luck at predicting the exact results of 16 of Saturday’s matches.

The accumulator, if it came in, would return a mammoth £157,865.59.

And, incredibly, it landed, largely thanks to Zaha’s winner.
