Ineos host 'transfer talks' as Man United signing rests on two factors
Manchester United's owners Ineos are reportedly discussing the possibility of making a move for free agent midfielder Adrien Rabiot this summer.
The Frenchman has been a free agent since the summer after he left Juventus at the expiration of his contract. He went on to star for the French national team as they reached the semi-finals of the European Championships.
However, his performances for Les Bleus did not result in him receiving offers from clubs searching for a midfielder. According to TeamTalk, United and Newcastle are among the clubs exploring the possibility of signing Rabiot to strengthen their squads.

United are in desperate need of midfield reinforcements after a poor start to the season for Casemiro. But a detracting factor from an Ineos perspective is thought to be Rabiot's contract demands as Sir Jim Ratcliffe's ownership group are looking to steer away from lucrative deals for players around the age of 30.
Galatasaray are thought to be pushing the hardest for Rabiot but the Frenchman is stalling due to his desire remaining to play in the Premier League. Elsewhere, United are reportedly willing to sign Bayern Munich's Kingsley Coman in January on two conditions.
The forward is thought to be wanting to leave the Allianz Arena but informed Bayern before deadline day that he was willing to stay in Bavaria because no suitable offers were on the table. According to Christian Falk for Caught Offside, the Reds would be willing to go in for Coman in the winter so long as he remains injury-free between now and then and if the Frenchman would be open to a move
