Ilkay Gundogan and Bernardo Silva give updates on their Man City futures after Champions League win

Ilkay Gundogan and Bernardo Silva have both given updates on their Manchester City futures after potentially playing their final games for the club.

Gundogan, 32, is out of contract at City at the end of the month, with no agreement reached on his future. Recent reports suggest that Gundogan and City are closer to a new deal, although the player's agent is said to have distanced Gundogan from those reports.

Bernardo is another player with an uncertain future. While he remains under contract, he has sought to leave City in the past to return closer to home, and has been linked with a summer exit to make that happen this season.

Speaking after the Champions League final, neither player would confirm whether they would be staying at City, instead both insisting that no decision has been made over their respective futures.

Speaking to Telefoot, Bernardo said: "Honestly, I don’t know. We’ll see what’s going to happen in the next few weeks, the next few months. Now we just have to celebrate this victory."

Gundogan, meanwhile, was quoted by ESPN as saying: “I haven’t decided my future yet.”

The comments from captain Gundogan come as Arsenal's head of academy Per Mertesacker - a former international teammate of Gundogan's - suggested that City's treble could prompt the midfielder to say: "Okay, mission accomplished."

Arsenal are one of the clubs linked with signing Gundogan on a free transfer, and Mertesacker told German broadcaster ZDF: "I think the clubs are queuing. Because [Mikel] Arteta knows him and we probably haven’t broken off contact, we’re in a good position.
