Igamane to Everton 'could be agreed', Dessers sales pitch and Jefte exit timeline floated – Rangers transfer bulletin

A former Everton insider reckons the club could make a move for Rangers striker Hamza Igamane before the end of the January window.

The Moroccan has emerged as the first-choice frontman at Ibrox this season after netting 13 goals for Philippe Clement's side following his summer arrival from AS FAR. Reports south of the border have suggested Everton, West Ham, Newcastle United, Bournemouth, Brentford and Fulham have shown an interest in the prospect who arrived for £1.7million last summer.

And after Dominic Calvert-Lewin was injured in the 1-0 Premier League win over Brighton at the AMEX Stadium last weekend, former Goodison Park scout Bryan King reckons David Moyes could be forced into the market before the end of the month with Igamane on the agenda. Speaking to Goodison News, he said: “If they have got the money, a deal could be agreed.

"I don’t think Igamane would be cheap. However, now that Calvert-Lewin is injured, I imagine that Everton will be looking to get that deal across the line."

Cyriel Dessers has insisted he has "unfinished business" at Ibrox and is no rush to leave with Corrie dello Sport reporting Cagliari have made the striker their top target. The 30-year-old has netted six goals in his last four games - and Michael Stewart reckons it is now the perfect time for the Light Blues to sell.
