"Ideal" - Journalist drops fresh Everton transfer claim on "unplayable" £50m star
Allan Saint-Maximin would be an “ideal” signing for Everton, according to Daily Star journalist Paul Brown.
The Newcastle winger has spent the last three years on Tyneside, but his future at St James’ Park is far from certain.
Saint-Maximin has been one of Newcastle’s top performers this season, registering eight goal involvements in 28 appearances in the top-flight.

I’ve thought since last summer, when we found out that Rafael Benitez wanted to play quick, counter-attacking football with wingers, that Saint-Maximin was ideal for that kind of role.”
Richarlison was linked with a move to PSG last summer, and his days at Everton could be numbered, with it being claimed that Arsenal could make a move for the winger.
If the Brazilian does depart the Merseyside club, Saint-Maximin could be the player that Everton target to replace him.
