Ibrox transfer news: Van Bronckhorst could soon face major Rangers ‘overhaul’

The Rangers squad is likely to undergo a major summer overhaul, according to the Herald and Glasgow Times’ senior Gers reporter Chris Jack.

Giovanni van Bronckhorst was appointed as the reigning Scottish Premiership champions’ boss in November, but it appears he may be forced to contend with a host of outgoings in the coming months.

Eight of Rangers’ current squad are set to see their contracts come to an end in the summer, with those being Connor Goldson, Scott Arfield, Steven Davis, Leon Balogun, Allan McGregor and Andy Firth, along with loanees Amad Diallo and Aaron Ramsey.

Rangers, meanwhile, have the option of extending Balogun’s current agreement by a further 12 months.

Away from the stars whose contracts are set to expire, Glen Kamara, Joe Aribo and Ryan Kent have attracted interest in recent times.

Jack told GIVEMESPORT: “When you look ahead to the summer, there are guys that are likely to move on
