Arsenal legend Ian Wright has hailed in-form star Martin Odegaard for his role in the Gunners’ recent renaissance.

Mikel Arteta’s men have risen into the top four with a fine recent run and the Norwegian playmaker has led by example in the club’s Champions League push.

The ex-Real Madrid man has been instrumental of late, as Arsenal have taken command of the top four race, moving a point ahead of Manchester United and boasting three games in hand.

Indeed, the 23-year-old shone in last weekend’s 3-2 win at Watford, his link-up play with Bukayo Saka proving crucial to the side’s success at Vicarage Road.
