I wanted to attack Jose Mourinho with my boot – his blunt insult offended me so much

Ex-Arsenal star Mesut Ozil once revealed that Jose Mourinho launched into a crazed tirade against him while the pair were at Real Madrid.

The particularly explosive incident was recounted in Ozil's 2017 autobiography 'Gunning For Greatness'. Ozil then painted a bizarre picture of Mourinho mimicking his tackling style in a mocking manner, suggesting that the German midfielder was afraid to commit to a tackle, reports the Mirror.

In his book, Ozil wrote: "He (Mourinho) becomes increasingly obsessed. His heart rate is probably 180. Mine's definitely 200. Then I've had enough. I can't hold back any
