"I think I've stabbed him": Murder accused grabbed knife after fearing for sister's life when ex turned up, jurors hear

A murder accused told jurors that he picked up a knife after fearing for his sister's life when her 'nuisance' ex-partner turned up.

Liam Fosbrook, 28, is on trial accused of murdering 35-year-old Dylan Towers outside his sister's home in Brinnington, Stockport. He has pleaded not guilty to murder and an alternative charge of manslaughter.

Speaking of the moment he saw Mr Towers outside the property, Mr Fosbrook said: "I thought he was going to try and break into the house and seriously harm or kill her."

Mr Fosbrook said he called the police and after the officers left, he had a sleepless night. "There was no chance I was able
