'I still can't get over what I was charged for two Cokes and fries at Co-op Live... how can they think it's acceptable?'

The opening of Co-op Live has been far from easy. Beset by problems since the get-go, there have been issues over car park delays and just this week we highlighted how gig-goers faced two-hour queues waiting to get inside for Niall Horan's show.

But another issue raised by customers is how much it costs for food and drink once you're actually in there. And it's supposed to be part of the fun experience of a night out is it not? Sadly, when you're looking at the price lists, it quickly zaps the fun out of the whole affair.

After queuing so long to get in the place - our queue stretched way back behind the Etihad Stadium - we needed something and, like with all of these places, you can't take any of your own food and drink inside with you, so really you have little choice.

Because of the location of this place, it's not easy to nip somewhere to eat or drink beforehand either, not unless you're taking the walking route or tram from the city centre, but even then a lot of people don't have time to stop off
