I saw what Chido Obi-Martin did for Manchester United's U18s - he will be impossible to ignore

If you are not a Manchester United or Arsenal supporter you might not have heard of Chido Obi-Martin.

Based on Saturday's events at Carrington, however, it will not be all that long before you have. Making his full debut for United's Under-18s, the Dane required just the opening 14 minutes of their 6-0 win over Nottingham Forest to help himself to a hat-trick.

The 16-year-old justified Lawrence's decision with just 13 seconds on the clock, giving United's youngsters the dream start. The former Arsenal striker capitalised on a defensive error from Forest's Riko Robinson, who was attempting to play the ball back to his goalkeeper, rounded Keehan Willows and turned the ball home.

Sporting the No.9 shirt, Obi-Martin reacted instinctively inside the penalty area, drilling a low shot past Willows after Jayce Fitzgerald's cross from the right was failed to be cleared by Forest defender Ethan Broomes. It was a terrific finish from the youngster, who had no other thought in his mind but to pull the trigger and attempt to add to his tally. He celebrated by putting his hands behind his ears and jumping into the air.
