I saw Manchester United goalscorer salute the real hero vs Athletic - he has to start the final

Manchester United are in the Europa League final after they beat Athletic Club 4-1 at Old Trafford in a semi-final second leg that was far tenser than the final scoreline suggests.

Leading 3-0 after last week's success in Spain, United were on the ropes for a while after Mikel Jauregizar scored in the first half. But Ruben Amorim's triple change on the hour mark altered the course of the game, with Amad influential.

Mason Mount started and finished a spell of four goals in 18 minutes, scoring two outstanding efforts, with Casemiro and Rasmus Hojlund also finding the net in front of the Stretford End.

A result that flattered United means they will face Tottenham in the Europa League final back in Bilbao on Wednesday, May 21.
