'I hope it acts as a warning - you never know who is watching'

Undercover police saw a man pull a package from out of his jacket when approached by two men. Now Christian Foster has been jailed for two years four months for dealing class A drugs.

The 55-year-old of Farrell Street, in Fairfield and Howley, Warrington, had previously pleaded guilty to two counts of possession with intent to supply cocaine and heroin at Liverpool Crown Court and was sentenced today.

The court heard how at around 2.30pm on Tuesday March 26th two plain clothed officers on patrol on St Elphin's Close noticed Foster acting suspiciously. As the officers were watching him, he was approached by two men and appeared to produce a package from his top.

Foster was arrested at the scene and subsequently charged in relation to the incident.

Detective Constable Vicky Hancox of Warrington Proactive Policing Team, said: “Thanks to the work of the two eagle-eyed officers another drug dealer is now behind bars. “We will always act on any information about drug activity provided to us and would urge anyone who believes this activity is happening
