'I gave up' - Roy Keane has already identified a Manchester United issue Ruben Amorim must fix
Former captain Roy Keane has already identified a major flaw in Manchester United's dressing room that Ruben Amorim will have to try and fix, if he is appointed as the club's next manager.
As reported by the Manchester Evening News on Monday evening, Amorim has agreed a deal in principle to become United's next manager. Talks over a compensation package between the Reds and Sporting Lisbon are currently ongoing.
United are understandably keen to try and appoint the 39-year-old as quickly as possible, but Amorim admitted on Tuesday evening, following Sporting's 3-1 win over Nacional, that nothing has yet been decided.

Nevertheless, he is the overwhelming favourite to take over at Old Trafford and succeed Erik ten Hag. If installed as United's next boss, he will be tasked with trying to instantly improve results and performances, with the Reds' showings so far this season leaving a lot to be desired.
And if Keane's recent admission about the mentality of United's players inside the dressing room is anything to go by, Amorim will also be expected to try and improve the mindset and application of the players, too.
Following last month's 1-1 draw with FC Twente in the Europa League last month, midfielder Christian Eriksen, who scored that evening, said that he felt the Dutch side wanted the win more than United did.
