'I am sure' - Journalist claims 'Marsch is looking at' making seventh Leeds signing

Journalist Pete O’Rourke has claimed that Jesse Marsch will be hoping to add some more attacking players to Leeds United this summer.

Leeds have already made six signings this summer, with two of them being attacking options in Brenden Aaronson and Luis Sinisterra, but with Raphinha recently leaving for Barcelona, Marsch might be keen to add one more attacker.

The Whites have been heavily linked with Charles De Ketelaere and Arnaud Kalimuendo this summer, who Marsch will be hoping can bring to the club in an attempt to fill the void of his top scorer in the Premier League last season.

Despite already bringing in Aaronson and Sinisterra to the club this summer, O’Rourke spoke with This Is Futbol and claimed that because they have lost Raphinha, Marsch will be looking to add some more attacking options.

He said: “I think they are looking for attacking reinforcements, dealing with De Ketelaere from Club Brugge, who can play wide or up front as well.

“So it’s definitely an area of the team that Jesse Marsch is looking at despite the signing of Sinisterra, and again, I think losing Raphinha will be a big blow for Leeds, so I’m sure Jesse Marsch will be hoping to add some more attacking faces to his team before the close of the transfer window.”

Losing Raphinha will likely be a big loss for Leeds next season as his 11 goals were crucial in their Premier League survival last term, but they have been heavily linked with De Ketelaere, who despite being just 21 years old, contributed to 21 goals in 33 Jupiler Pro League games last season.
