Hull KR's outside back Max Kirkbright heads out on loan till the end of 2022

Hull KR have confirmed dynamic outside-back Max Kirkbright has joined Swinton Lions on loan until the end of 2022.

The news comes on the same day fellow reserve ace Bailey Dawson joins Betfred League One rivals Midlands Hurricanes in a similar loan deal.

Kirkbright has found league one experience already this season, playing a handful of games for Hunslet RLFC alongside his crucial role in Stanley Gene and Kev Deighton's reserve side.

Kirkbright and Dawson follow teammates Tom Wilkinson, Will Tate, Connor Moore, Dan Okoro, Adam Rusling and Nathan Cullen in heading out on loan at some stage during the 2022 campaign as they all continue their journey in the world of rugby league.

The Lions are third on the ladder at the moment and have aspirations of returning to the Championship at the first time of asking. The Greater Manchester side are away to Cornwall this weekend.
