Hull FC Combined Nations side featuring some of the clubs greatest ever players

Hull FC have always had strong representation from both the home countries and overseas. From the early year Kangaroos to the Kiwi stars of the 80s, some of the Black and Whites' greatest ever players have arrived at the club from the boat or plane.

Rather than focus on the summer era, Hull Live has selected a pre-Super League Combined Nations XIII featuring the Hull stars of the past. How would they fare up against the current England side?

Full Back: Gary Kemble - One of three New Zealanders to sign for Hull after the 1980 Kiwi tour, Kemble was an instant hit with the Hull supporters. Safe as houses under the high bomb and reliable as any with his cover tackle, the popular fullback made 195 appearances for the club, scoring 45 tries.

Wing: Dane O'Hara - Shout out to Bruce Ryan here, but how can you not select Dane O'Hara. The famous Kiwi trio are still as loved in Hull today as they were forty years ago. O'Hara was electric on either wing, scoring 116 tries in 276 appearances.

Centre: James Leuluai - One of the best centres to play for the club, when you think of James Leuluai, you're instantly drawn to those wonderful Challenge Cup tries against Castleford and Wigan. Leulaui scored 85 tries in 183 appearances, many of which featured his devastating speed and sidestep.

Centre: Jimmy Devereux - Hull signed many stellar Australians in their early years and the capture of Jimmy Devereux in 1908 was as good as any. A potent centre, the Kangaroo star was the first to score a ton of tries for the club, landing 102 in just 180 appearances.
