Hull City to face Turkish Süper Lig giants Fenerbahce in pre-season friendly

Shota Arveladze will take Hull City to face Turkish Süper Lig giants Fenerbahce for a pre-season friendly. The Tigers will face the Süper Lig runners-up at the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium on July 10th.

It's the first trip to Acun Ilicali's native country after taking over the club midway through last season. Fenerbahce finished eight points adrift of Trabzonspor and will prove a stern test for the Tigers.

Former Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil is among some of the big name talents playing for Jorge Jesus's side and could line-up against City next month. The following week, City will head to Marbella for a weeks warm weather training as they continue their preparations for the 2022/23 Championship campaign.

The Tigers will then return to the UK to face Cambridge United and Peterborough United on Saturday 23rd July, with kick-off at the Abbey Stadium at 12 noon and the second game at the Weston Homes Stadium kicking off at 4pm.
