Hull City receive boost following Peterborough United victory

The Tigers were missing up to eight first team players for their big 3-0 win over Peterborough United at the weekend.

The win took Hull to 18th place and, more crucially, 14 points clear of the relegation zone with only 11 games left in the season.

But the side were without Nathan Baxter, Lewie Coyle, Callum Elder, Allahyar Sayyadmanesh, Marcus Forss, Josh Emmanuel, Randel Williams and Tom Eaves for that win over the Posh.

Fortunately for Hull, Baxter, Elder, Sayyadmanesh and Eaves are all hoping to make a return to the side in the coming week, reports the Hull Daily Mail.

Emmanuel should also be nearing a return as he illness keeps him out of the side.

However, Coyle, Williams and Forss will all be unavailable until the March international break.

Hull face West Brom on March 5 at the MKM Stadium.

This is a much needed boost for Shota Arveladze ahead of some tough games.

To be missing that many players was extremely unlucky and put the new manager in a difficult position after only a few weeks at the club.

The win at the weekend has taken some of the immediate pressure off of the club.

But Arveladze will be hoping to get his first team players back to get a better look at all of them as the club prepares for a busy Summer ahead.
