Hull City fans deliver verdict as unbeaten away run comes to an end at Millwall

Hull City fans have urged the team to 'go again next week' after their six-game unbeaten run on the road came to an end at Millwall. Goals from Scott Malone and Tom Bradshaw shortly after the restart earned the hosts a 2-1 victory on Easter Monday.

The Tigers were made to pay for failing to take advantage of their first-half dominance with the quickfired double, although Tom Eaves' 87th-minute strike did pave the way for a late rally. It is City's third defeat in their last five matches, but Shota Arveladze's side have already preserved their Championship status and are just jostling for position with 17th-spot now the realistic best finish.

Reflecting on the defeat, Arveladze told Hull Live: "Yes, it was frustrating, but that's football. Sometimes you cannot be soft, be nice.

"You can play nice but you cannot be nice. We have a positive attitude to keep going, to keep playing until the last minute.

"This is all positive and great, but we need to work on being nasty a bit. To get the second balls when you have to. These types of things cost games."

Here is how Hull fans reacted to the loss at The Den, with the Tigers back on home turf for their next fixture against Reading.
